All Physioworks Health Group clinics have re-opened following the latest COVID-19 lockdown period.

All clinics reopened on Thursday 18th February, in line with the lifting of latest Victorian Government COVID-19 Stage 4 restrictions.

All services, including Physiotherapy services, Massage Therapy services & Exercise Physiology consults are available, with all Physioworks clinics open on weekdays from 8am.

We have individual treatment rooms, strict social distancing, face-mask & hygiene practices in place at all clinics.

Physioworks Health Group Exercise Physiologist Megan Jepson continues her long standing commitment in health & exercise research as part of her role as a Research Assistant at Monash University.

Megan’s current research involves investigating the effectiveness of Government health messaging surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic for vulnerable populations.

Megan Jepson has worked on many projects surrounding health research, including:

• Research within the Paramedic Department focusing on Paramedic health, wellbeing & practice
• Research within the School of Primary & Allied Health Care focusing on allied health service provision in Australian & New Zealand Hospitals
• Research investigating the relationship between breast size on shoulder, neck & back pain – see video below.

Megan’s research publications to date (as at February 2021) can be viewed on the Physioworks Health Group education & research page. These research papers include:

• What is the prevalence of frequent attendance to emergency departments & what is the impact on emergency department utilisation? A systematic review and meta-analysis.
• Evidence-based practice conversations with clinical supervisors during paramedic placements: An exploratory study of student’s perceptions.
• ‘There is a very distinct need for education’ among people with rotator cuff tendinopathy: An exploration of health professionals’ attitudes.

Welcome. Physiotherapist Conor Daly has recently joined the Physioworks Health Group.

Conor Daly will be providing physiotherapy consultations at Physioworks Cranbourne & Pakenham clinics.

Conor Daly has a keen interest in exercise & evidence based practice. He is committed to promoting better community health through active lifestyle changes & appreciates rehabilitation from injury can look different for everyone.

With active interest in a wide range of sports, Conor Daly has previously worked with Mornington Soccer Club’s State League 1 Team as the Head Sports Trainer & Head of Player Rehabilitation.

Physiotherapist Conor Daly graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) from Monash University in 2019. He is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and the APA Musculoskeletal and Sports & Exercise special interest groups.
