Physiotherapist Millie Berkhout consults at Physioworks Health Group Cranbourne and Physioworks Health Group Pakenham.

With a strong background in Exercise & Sports Science, Physiotherapist Millie Berkhout has a keen interest in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, with particular interest in running performance and rehabilitation from running injuries.

In 2018, Millie Berkhout is the physiotherapist for the Collingwood Football Club team participating in the AFL Woman’s League (AFLW); and continues in a support role as physiotherapist for the Casey Cavaliers (Big V Basketball).

Having completed a Bachelor of Exercise & Sport Science at Deakin University (2012), Millie completed her Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne (2016).

Throughout her physiotherapy studies, Millie gained invaluable clinical experience in hospitals, community health centres and sports medicine settings in both Melbourne and Queensland.

Whilst studying Exercise & Sports Science, Millie also undertook various placements within high performance settings, including at AFL club level, taking on various tasks, including load management.

Prior to commencing full-time practise at Physioworks Health Group, Millie Berkhout had extensive experience in exercise prescription, working as a personal trainer for 7 years, helping her clients reach various goals, including weight loss, sports performance and injury prevention.

As part of her role at Physioworks Health Group, Millie Berkhout is the resident physiotherapist for the Main Street Retirement Village Pakenham (MSV), assisting the elderly residents on-site on a weekly basis with all their physiotherapy needs.

Physiotherapist Millie Berkhout conducts the Hydrotherapy sessions at Physioworks Pakenham on Monday and Thursday.
