Phillip Boland is the Massage Therapist at Physioworks Health Group Pakenham and has been providing his professional massage expertise at our clinics since 2001.

Phillip currently works as the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) Tennis Soft Tissue Therapist and since 2003 has been providing his expertise as Massage Therapist to all WTP players competing each year at the Australian Open Tennis. During 2016 he worked as the soft tissue therapist for the Australian Federation Cup Tennis team during the tie against the USA.

His extensive professional massage experience extends across a wide range of professional sporting codes, including the AFL (with the Hawthorn Football Club), Cricket Australia (with the Australian Cricket team) and the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games.

Philip Boland has recently been appointed to the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games to provide his massage expertise to our Paraolympians in the Australian team HQ in the Games Village.

Phillip graduated from ESTT College of Natural Medicine with a Diploma of Remedial Massage and Diploma of Health Science. Post Graduate studies were completed at the Australian College of Soft Tissue Therapy.

Phillip takes a keen interest in research and education of sports massage, lecturing for two years at ESTT College of Natural Medicine in Sports and Remedial Massage. Phillip Boland is a member of the Australian Association of Massage Therapists.
