Brooke DeHey is a highly experienced, accredited Exercise Physiologist and a full member of Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA)
Brooke DeHay completed a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science at Victoria University in 2006. She has since completed a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) in 2007, a Graduate Diploma in Exercise Rehabilitation & a Master’s in Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2008.
A Senior Exercise Physiologist at Physioworks Health Group, Brooke has vast experience in exercise assessment & prescription for:
- Sports conditioning training, specifically netball
- Lower limb & lumbar musculoskeletal rehabilitation
- Running training & re-education
- Neurological conditions: MS, CP, Parkinson’s disease, stroke
- Chronic conditions: Mental health, CVD, hypertension, cancer, arthritis, diabetes
- Osteoporosis
Brooke’s experience in musculoskeletal & neurological conditions is further enhanced by her long-term part time role in rehabilitation at Monash Health Dandenong Hospital.
Brooke DeHey has extensive personal experience as an athlete and has special interest in running & running re-training, as well as netball specific training having played within State League competition. For over 10+ seasons, Brooke has run the pre-season strength & conditioning program at Devon Meadows Football Netball Club.
As a former teacher, Brooke has a true passion and desire to educate & motivate patients to exercise, particularly young people & those with chronic health & weight issues. “Everybody, no matter their condition, can benefit from some form of exercise”
Exercise Physiologist Brooke DeHey is registered with Medicare & the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, Workcover, the TAC, as well as private health insurers; and is Work with Children certified.
