- Chronic conditions, including cardiovascular disease, pulmonary conditions, diabetes & other metabolic conditions, neurological conditions (including dementia, MS, CP and stroke).
Growing up on a cane farm outside of Ayr in North Queensland, Rebecca’s passion for Allied Health stemmed from seeing a large gap in access to treatment between regional & remote areas, especially in the area of mental health support.
Rebecca believes that movement & exercise is for everyone, no matter your age or ability, having worked with clients across all age demographics; from as young as 5 years old to the elderly. She has experience working with NDIS, DVA, ADF, Medicare & Workcover schemes, and in mental health, ergonomics, functional assessments & hydrotherapy.
During her studies, from 2019-2021, Rebecca immersed herself in the Rugby League world, gaining valuable elite sport work experience with the Townsville Blackhawks (QRL) & North Queensland Cowboys (NRL).
Rebecca Previtera is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and is a full member of Exercise & Sport Science Australia (ESSA).
Rebecca completed a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science in 2020, and her Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2022, both at James Cook University (Townsville).
