Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists David Francis (FACP) & Andrew Dalwood (FACP) lead a health care team at Physioworks Health Group which have over 25 years’ experience working with and educating local & elite sporting clubs, including the Collingwood FC (AFL, AFLW, & VFL).
As part of our long term support & sponsorship of the Ashburton Redbacks Junior Football Club, an open forum Q&A injury educational night was recently held at Physioworks Camberwell clinic for Ashy trainers.
Trainers & Coaches were educated on a range of issues from taping, basic massage & concussion to the management of common soft tissue injuries in growing, young athletes.
The aim of the evening was to help the many parents who volunteer as Ashy team trainers, to be best prepared for player injury prevention & management for the girls & boys as they return to field for the 2021 season.
